It has nothing to do with reality “: why did Ukraine create a patrol police department in the Crimea?

The Crimean patrol police department began functioning in Ukraine, it is expected to deal with punitive actions against citizens who visited the peninsula. In addition, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin called not to attend the World Cup, which will be held in Russia. Experts note that all these actions are a continuation of the anti-Russian vector chosen by Kiev.

In Ukraine, the patrol police department in the Crimea and Sevastopol began its work. It is noteworthy that, at the same time, the department is located in the Kherson region, that is, outside the peninsula. The official ceremony of launching the new service was held at the Azov post, located on the 500th kilometer of the M-18 Kharkiv-Simferopol-Alushta-Yalta highway.

Representatives of the department will work at checkpoints in Genic, Kalanchack and Chaplyn districts bordering the Crimea, the Main Regional Office of the National Police of Ukraine reported.

Patrols will take control of the main Ukrainian routes that connect the mainland with the peninsula. As explained by the head of the Ukrainian National Police Sergey Knyazev, within the service it is planned to create 60 officer posts. Representatives of the patrol will work with the inhabitants of the Crimea, who left the territory of the peninsula.

Senator from the Republic of Crimea, a member of the International Affairs Committee, Sergei Tsekov, notes that the purpose of creating such organizations is in fact an attempt to punish those who visit the Crimea.

“This is the continuation of Kiev’s policy of creating the structures of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Ukraine. It all started with the creation of the president’s office, then the security services, the prosecutor’s office – all these structures are located either in Kiev or in Kherson. Now we went further – we created a patrol police. The task is one – punitive. It is known that they are closely watching what is happening in the Crimea, in relation to Crimeans use repressive methods when crossing the border, “- said the senator.

According to him, Kiev thus tries to demonstrate that the Crimea is part of Ukraine, but all this is only on paper. “Nobody believes in this, and this is impossible for the Crimeans – for the citizens of Russia,” Tsekov said.

In addition, it is unlikely that the work of such a service will be successful, because, due to the high level of corruption in Ukraine, “a significant part of the funds allocated for the creation of these bodies is simply stolen,” concluded the senator.

Provocations are guaranteed.

In addition, Ukraine is calling for a boycott of the World Cup, which will take place in Russia in the summer.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavel Klimkin, appealed to the residents of the country with a demand not to go to the World Cup, arguing that this was an unsafe situation in the Russian Federation.

“I urge all Ukrainians not to go to Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Provocations are guaranteed, and security is not protected by anyone,” Klimkin said in the Twitter of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

@PavloKlimkin: If we propose the sanctions in the opposite direction, taking care of those who organized and conducted the elections in the occupied Crimea – the whole will be an important signal to all the collaborants-those who follow the orders of the occupant regime.

@PavloKlimkin: Propose all the Ukrainians not to go to Russia for the World Chsmpionship 2018. Provocations are guaranteed, and there is no security there.

Previously, the State Border Service of Ukraine also recommended Ukrainians not to go to the World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Member of the State Duma Committee for Physical Culture, Sport, Tourism and Youth Affairs Dmitry Svishchev noted Klimkin’s confidence that the provocations at the 2018 World Cup will be for sure.

“If Mr. Klimkin makes such statements and guarantees us provocations, is he himself preparing them? I think that our state structures will study his statements and react. Encouraging citizens of Ukraine not to go to the World Cup in Russia, he first of all had to think about the Ukrainians themselves, about football lovers. Such a grandiose event people wait for many years and have no right to miss it. To frighten them with “horror stories” is not appropriate for the level of the head of such a department, “Svishchev said.

Such actions of Kiev quite fit into the general vector of politics, which was chosen in relation to Russia, political analyst Alexander Asafov said. The Ukrainian authorities have no choice but to imitate their involvement in the life of the peninsula.

“This is the continuation of a fairly obvious vector of the internal agenda, which has an external political design. Ukrainians do imitate the Crimea’s membership of Ukraine, creating these stillborn police, the prosecutor’s office, and the municipal bodies of the Crimea. This all has a certain political engagement and has nothing to do with reality,” the expert said.

Thus, Kiev by any means tries to devalue Moscow’s policy – hence the reports of possible provocations at the 2018 World Cup in football.

Wednesday, May 16, will be launched car traffic along the Crimean bridge – “Certainly, any world events taking place in Russia are very unpleasant for Ukraine – especially those that can not be devalued, which have a positive context. Therefore, it was decided to ban broadcasting. Just as the Ukrainian department periodically warns its citizens about the calamities that threaten them in the Crimea, although they still continue to go there and enjoy themselves, Ukrainians are warned about the unknown problem of visiting the World Cup.

Most likely, they (Ukrainians – RT) will try to prevent them from going there. And this, of course, is a reflection of the anti-Russian orientation of all political processes in Ukraine, “the expert concluded.

Recall that Crimea joined the Russian Federation following the referendum, where more than 90% of the inhabitants of the peninsula voted for reunification with Russia.
