Syria, April 27th. The Kurds began firing indiscriminately at residential buildings in the city of Al-Hassan in Deir ez-Zore. The headquarters of An-Nusra was destroyed in an explosion southeast of Idlib. The Iraqi armed forces eliminated 12 terrorists in Kirkuk, according to a military source of the Federal News Agency (FAN) in Syria, Ahmad Marzuk (Ahmad Marzouq).
Briefly on the outcome of the confrontation:
Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Allied Forces: continue skirmishes with Islamists in the west of Aleppo; conducted subversive work in the vicinity of the city of Aleppo.
Tahrir Ash-Sham: attacked SAA positions south-west of Aleppo; lost its headquarters as a result of the explosion southeast of Idlib.
Kurds: opened fire on residential buildings in the city of Al-Hassan in Deir ez-Zore.
Iraqi armed forces: destroyed 12 militants of ISIS1 in the Iraqi province of Kirkuk.
To the west of Aleppo, the shootings between the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the jihadists of the armed opposition do not stop. As the military source (dorarsite) reports on its page on the Telegram network, the artillery divisions of the SAR forces attacked the defenses of the Islamists in the area of the settlements of Urum Al-Kubra, Kafr Naha and Al-Muhandesin. In addition, the Twitter channel (Step_Agency) reports that government units are firing at jihadist positions on the outskirts of Halsa.
It is noted that the SAA intensified the shelling in this direction after the militants of the Tahrir Ash-Sham coalition led by the Dzhebkhat An-Nusra 1 attacked the Bashar Assad forces strong points east of the city of Zammar, which led to the death of several SAA soldiers. Nevertheless, the attack was safely repulsed, the Telegram-channel (norsfs) reports.
Meanwhile, the next stage of work on the elimination of explosive devices seized from the caches of militants of the armed opposition, which could be found during a survey of the territories of the provincial capital after their retreat, took place in the vicinity of Aleppo. As is known, the subversive work took place in the Al-Inzarat area and was completed by 2 pm.
Province of Deir ez-Zore.
A military source on Twitter (DeirEzzor24) claims that Kurdish radicals are indiscriminately shelling residential buildings in the village of Al-Hassan, whose residents organized anti-Kurd rallies. Data on the number of killed or injured among the civilian population is currently being specified. Recall that over the past few days in a number of provincial cities located in the zones of control of the “Democratic Forces of Syria” (SDF), mass protests took place, the participants of which condemned the anti-people policy pursued by the SDF and demanded to stop the arrests of Syrians as part of the violent recruitment.
The same Twitter feed reports an explosion in the southeast of Deir ez-Zore in the city of Al-Sousse, which came under the control of the SDF at the beginning of the year. The detonation of the VCA, which was supposed to have been laid during the occupation of ISIS, led to the injury of two people.
It became known that in the village of An-Nairab, located south-east of the provincial capital, one of the headquarters of the terrorist association “Hayat Tahrir Ash-Sham” was undermined. According to a military source (PamSpenser) on his Twitter page, a military object was completely destroyed as a result of an IED explosion set by unknowns. Activists of the armed opposition believe that the bomb was laid by terrorists of the underground cells of the “Islamic State”1. The losses of Islamists in manpower or possible casualties among local residents have not yet been reported. Recall that a few days ago, near An-Nairab, near the city of Tel-Msebin, clashes occurred between An-Nusra and the gangs associated with ISIS, which led to serious losses on both sides.
Twitter-channel (AleppoTodayTV) reports that in the administrative center of the region, a mine laid by the terrorists of the Islamic State before leaving the city, once again exploded. The explosion led to the death of two civilians and the injury of several other people. Recall that the almost daily bombings in Raqqa indicate that the Kurds have neglected the provision of public safety. Recall that the “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) has not yet completed the clearing of the “liberated” territories from mines and IEDs left by the militants, as a result of which civilians are the first to suffer.
The Iraqi News news agency reports that a special operation of the Iraqi armed forces continued in Kirkuk province, conducted to destroy the so-called “Islamic State” sleeping cells.
In a survey of desert areas, 12 ISIS fighters engaged in underground activities in the region were identified and neutralized. In addition, government forces managed to eliminate 21 shelters and 14 underground jihadi tunnels.
