Syria, 26 May. The Turks opened fire on YPG kurdish patrols on the outskirts of the city of Ras Al Ain, north of Hasakah. The sleeping cells of ISIS1 inflicted damage to the Kurds in manpower in the east of Deir ez-Zor. Terrorists have resumed shelling of the north-western regions of Hama province, according to a military source from the Federal News Agency (FAN) in Syria, Ahmad Marzouq (Ahmad Marzouq).
Briefly on the outcome of the confrontation:
Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Allied Forces: Tahrir al-Sham missile attacks north-west of Hama.
“Islamic State” 1 (ISIS): destroyed one Kurdish fighter by the efforts of “sleeping cells” in the east of Deir ez-Zor.
Syrian Free Army (SFA): defused an explosive device near a mosque in Al-Bab, allegedly planted by the YPG radicals.
Kurds: Caught under fire by Turkish units on the outskirts of the city of Ras Al Ain north of Hasakah; provoked the spread of fires on the border of the provinces of Raqqa and Aleppo.
Militants of the pro-Turkish Syrian Free Army (FSA) defused an explosive device found near a mosque in the city of Al-Bab to the northeast of Aleppo, reports the opposition channel Halab Today. It is assumed that it could have been laid by Kurdish radicals from the Popular Self-Defense Detachments (YPG), who continue sabotage against the Allied Ankara gangs in the north of the province of Aleppo.
Fires engulfed agricultural land near the village of Jab Al-Hafi, located in the vicinity of Manbij in the north-east of the province, a local Twitter source (@QUSAY_NOOR_) reports. The fire, apparently, spread from the north-western regions of neighboring Raqqa. According to the SOHR, due to the inability of the Kurds occupying these territories to eliminate fires in the fire, large harvest fields on the border of the regions burned down.
Province of Deir ez-Zor.
The terrorists of the Islamic State killed a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighter on a road near the village of Al-Sabha, located in the east of Deir ez-Zor province, between the channels of the Khabur and Euphrates rivers. This was reported by a military source on Twitter (@RisboLensky), referring to the media resources of jihadists. The grouping actually continues its activities in the Kurdish-held areas in the northeast ATS due to “sleeping cells”. Due to their activity, however, civilians in particular are regularly dying. Such a widespread use of clandestine ISIS gangs resulted primarily from the fact that the SDF radicals systematically neglect the principles of a thorough sweep of the ground as part of anti-terrorist special operations, many experts emphasize.
Province of Hama.
Members of the Islamist coalition Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham, led by Dzhebhat an-Nusra 1, and other most radical groups launched rockets in the direction of the Syrian Arab Army strongholds on the outskirts of Ain al-Qurum to the north west of Hama, reports Masar Press Agency. There were no reports of casualties in the ranks of the government forces. Information about possible casualties among civilians is currently being investigated. Earlier, the city of Scalbia was again subjected to the shelling of jihadists. During the strikes on it, the militants also involved mainly rocket launchers.
Province of Hasakah.
According to a Twitter resource (@MasarPressNet), units of the Turkish army opened fire on patrols of Kurdish forces that moved along the northern outskirts of the border town of Ras Al Ain, located in Hasakah province. Information about the damage caused to YPG units is still being established. Recall, Ankara links the Kurdish groups operating in Syria with the Kurdistan Workers Party, which is recognized in Turkey and several other countries as a terrorist organization. The Turks carried out two major operations against the Kurds and its supporters in the north of the SAR and repeatedly declared their intention to launch a third offensive in the Manbij area and in the territories beyond the Euphrates.
